The cold months are definitely upon us, and with them, the warm chihuahua clothing is coming out in force! I’m seeing a lot of people going for the cute little chihuahua hoodies right now, and it’s no surprise why: these little chihuahua hooded outfits are both stylish and they keep your little dog warm.

Where To Find Teacup Chihuahua Clothes Cheap

When you’re looking around for teacup chihuahua clothes cheap for your tiny little dog, it can be a challenge to find these outfits and dresses and costumes that don’t cost you an arm and a leg. A lot of the small dog boutiques charge a pile of bones for what ultimately amounts to a very small amount of fabric in the clothing. So trying to find cheap teacup Chihuahua clothes for your little dog can turn out to be a rather time-consuming task!

Luckily, I’ve been looking around for a few good outfits for my own teacup chihuahua foster dogs lately, and so I’m going to share with you what I found in all of my searching around.

I have three stores in mind where you can find these super small teacup chihuahua clothes for cheap and not completely empty your wallet all at once. I’ll start with the first two:

The first place I’d check out and shop if I were looking for cheap teacup chihuahua clothes would be the Dog Dug. These guys carry some seriously inexpensive clothes for the smaller dogs! A lot of their outfits are in the $10 to $20 US range, with some even for less than $10. I should tell you that I have never personally shopped at the Dog Dug before, but I know people who have, and they’ve had good experiences so far. So if you’re shopping for little dog clothes for your chihuahua on a budget, you definitely have to check this place out.

The second shop I’d check out would likely be michipet.com, who stocks a decent selection cheap-to-mid range teacup chihuahua clothes, here. They carry a few outfits for the teacup size dogs for under $20 USD, but the majority of their little chihuahua clothes fall into the $20-$30 range. And they’re definitely worth checking out. I have ordered one outfit from Michi P before and it was a good shopping experience. I know that’s not a ton of experience to go on, but they seem like a quality operation, so if you like the teacup clothes you see there, I wouldn’t have any qualms about placing an order with them.

Chihuahua Winter Clothes for Living With Chihuahuas In A Cold Place

Chihuahuas tend to get insanely cold in the winter time, and so heavier dog clothing for your pet chihuahuas is a must. It’s not really optional: if you own chihuahuas and you live in a cold climate over the winter months, and you’re also a responsible dog owner who makes the effort to walk your dog every day in the winter time, you need to bundle these little guys up in their sweaters and chihuahua coats, otherwise they just freeze their little buts off. I’m not joking in the least bit, either: if you’ve ever seen a chihuahua in weather that even remotely approximates what you’d consider “cool”, then you know just how much these little hairy cutie pies shiver and shake in the cool weather.

Some of you know that chihuahuas have a very high metabolism that causes their body to shed their body heat very quickly compared to the other dog breeds, and so they cool off very rapidly when they’re not spending time in a hot place like their home country of Mexico. 😉 And if you’re living in a cold place with your chihuahua, forget about it: that’s a recipe for chihuahua popsicle!

So chihuahua winter coats really are a must if you live in the cold. I happen to live in Canada right now. And while living up here with my chihuahuas right now, and when we fly over to the UK to visit friends, I have to wrap my chihuahuas up in their warm chihuahua clothing for the winter just to keep them comfortable. The winter really is not a chihuahua’s best friend!
